Jim Pinter-Lucke
It was Jim’s initial vision, motivation and efforts that allowed the Idyllwild Climbers Alliance to come into existence. Jim coordinated a group of Tahquitz/Suicide regulars in 2008 to address issues that were present at that time, and built a relationship with the Access Fund. He organized the first Adopt a Crag event in 2010, and was the Access Fund Regional Coordinator during this period. Jim was awarded the Access Fund Reese Martin Award in 2010 for his “leadership and support . . . to climbing areas all over Southern California.”
